Michelle Launches InBizLive Small Business Conference

Michelle has launched a new SME (Small Medium Sized) Business Conference, InBizLive, with the first event taking place on 21st March 2022 in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dundalk Ireland.

At InbizLive 2022 “Reaching Your Summit”, attendees heard from World class Business Speakers and gained insights into what it takes to succeed in business.

The event featured:

World Class Speakers – Entrepreneurs from some of the most successful small businesses in the country shared how they created their success and what it takes to run and grow a successful business.

Private Meetings with Large Buyers – Attendees had the opportunity to meet senior buyers from some of the largest companies in the country. Learning how to secure business with them, and what opportunities are open to small businesses to grow and expand.

Networking – Attendees took part in exclusive networking opportunities with other attendees and business leaders attending the conference.

Connections – Attendees has the opportunity to connect with other like-minded leaders from across the island over a delicious business lunch, enjoying fine local cuisine.

 

Keynote Speakers Included:

InBizLive 22 assembled a panel of renowned local and global Business Experts as well as important partnerships that gave attendees a day packed with information, sharing, networking and doing business! Some of the keynote speakers included:

John Teeling

Serial entrepreneur John Teeling has had a diverse and successful career stretching over 50 years. In 1987 he launched Cooley Distillery which he then sold to Beam/Suntory in early 2012 for 72.8 million Euro.

In 2013 John re-entered the whiskey business acquiring the Harp brewery in Dundalk and setting up the Great Northern Distillery, which today produces 800,000 bottles of whiskey a week and is the second largest distiller in Ireland, with a market value of over £120 million.

John is also notable for having brought ten companies to public listing on the London Stock Exchange, the most of any Irish person. He is currently chairman of numerous listed mining and oil and gas exploration companies, including Petrel Resources Plc,  Clontarf Energy Plc, Botswana Diamonds Plc and Arkle Resources Plc.

John holds degrees from University College Dublin (B Comm., M Econ. Sc.), the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (MBA) and a doctorate from Harvard Business School.

Bobby Kerr

Bobby is an Irish entrepreneur and businessman from Kilkenny. He was the chairman of Insomnia Coffee Company until 2017, when he sold the company to the Icelandic Penninn Group in a multi million pound deal. Prior to forming Insomni Bobby was Managing Director and Director of International Development for Bewleys. In 2009, he was a “Dragon” on the Irish version of Dragons’ Den, produced by Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). Every Saturday morning from 10am – 12 noon, on Newstalk 106-108 Dublin FM, Bobby hosts a business show called Down to Business.

Michelle is a leading Northern Ireland business woman, and business turnaround expert, who has worked with and advised CEOs, Executives and Business Owners in large organisations and small businesses across all industries, worldwide.
